My name is Katie O'Mara, and throughout my professional journey, I’ve worn many hats — entrepreneur, registered dietitian, and lactation consultant. However, the place where I’ve truly felt at home has always been around young children. Whether caring for my own children, engaging with our community, or working in Sunday Schools and daycares for over 25 years, I’ve found joy and purpose in nurturing and supporting little ones.

 

Being surrounded by the magic of childhood has been my lifelong calling. I deeply believe in the power and beauty of early education, especially within the Waldorf philosophy, which emphasizes creativity, connection, and holistic growth. My family has been part of this incredible community since the very beginning of this magical program, and I am committed to fostering a loving, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

 

Outside of my professional life, I love backpacking, camping, and beaching with my family. These experiences allow us to connect with nature, build lasting memories, and bring a sense of adventure and calm that I hope to share with the children I work with.

 

I am excited to bring my experience, passion, and dedication to the kindergarten assistant role, contributing to a nurturing space that inspires curiosity, kindness, and joy.
