WHY SOLSTICE EVERGREENS?
Did you know that the tradition of using evergreens to celebrate winter festivals has existed for thousands of years, long before Christianity adopted it? Evergreens have been used as decorations during the Winter Solstice since the time of the ancient Romans and Celts. People decorated their homes with them to symbolize hope. The Waldorf tradition of Spiral Walk has roots in this idea of hope during the darkest time and uses evergreens as the main decoration.
MEET THE TREE FARMERS
The Eucalyptus Class has partnered with Wood Mountain Tree Farm to bring you fresh-cut trees, garlands, and wreaths.
With over 35 years in the retail tree business, Wood Mountain prioritizes attention to detail and quality is first and foremost. Their premium quality trees and wreath products are delivered fresh from the Pacific Northwest to participating organizations. Founded on traditional family values, Wood Mountain strives to continue to exemplify the importance of integrity and individual customer satisfaction.
Wood Mountain appreciates your support of small businesses, farmers/growers, and purchasing American-grown products.
