Emily has been a staple of the Performing Arts community of San Clemente for the past 8 years where she co-owns a children's theater company, Institute of Theatre Arts. She teaches acting, directs several shows a year and is also the theatre teacher at Vista del Mar Middle School. Her passion for theatre began in middle school and has never wavered. An award winning playwright, Emily studied Directing at Indiana University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in 2009. She taught theatre at a middle school in her home town of Chelmsford, Massachusetts and performed, wrote and directed in several professional shows in the Boston area before relocating to Southern California eight years ago.
