My calling in life is teaching. I love performing, inspiring, connecting, learning, problem solving and creating. I have been teaching from San Diego to LA county since I graduated high school. I started out teaching dance and fitness classes extending into directing and managing. I have had the pleasure of training professional dancers, singers, and athletes. My academic passion took me to Cal State Long Beach pursuing the wonders of the human psyche with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Graduating on time allowed me to have many job experiences while pursuing my passions and the world around me.
When I became a mother I knew my children would lead me to even more purpose. We found Waldorf immersed in our nature kindergarten group and never stopped learning. I became even more convinced of the critical importance of seeing the whole person in ourselves, and others. All these aspects of being human shape our interpersonal relationships and impact our satisfaction and fulfillment in life. Discovering the Waldorf approach to education, not only inspired what we wanted for our own children and family, I also discovered my calling as a Waldorf teacher.
I taught games for 6 years in Waldorf inspired homeschool enrichment programs, public charter, and private schools. After teaching games, I moved into the classroom as a main class teacher while also attending graduate school. Along with my teaching experience, I have a Masters in Education Teaching with a California State multiple subject teaching credential. I graduated from my Waldorf training from the Waldorf School of Orange County and look forward to my summer renewal training every year.
